Educators Coach Certification Training Modules
Program is 150 hours of coach specific training total

MODULE1 Synchronous Learning
3 Virtual Intensives over 6 months (38 hours)
When times change, there will be options for in-person trainings
Welcome Orientation: month one -12 hours plus asynchronous
- Introduction to program requirements, materials, ICF competencies, logging
- Client coaching practice
- Overview coach instruction: theory, research, competencies, practice
- Modeled session/practice coaching with a partner
- Over the course, plan to track and record a minimum of 25 hours of study
- Case study development, and coaching practice

Fishbowl Intensive: month three-14 hours (Sat-Sun most often) plus asynchronous
- Coach Instruction (theories, research, competencies, practice)
- Practice in small groups as a coach, client, and observer
- Receive feedback (verbal and written) from colleagues and credentialed coach facilitator
Graduation Celebration: month six-12 hours (Sat-Sun/days can be negotiated)
- Coach Instruction (theories, research, competencies, practice)
- Preparation for ICF Credentialing Process
- Business Start Up
- Sharing of Course Learning and Case Studies
- Conferral of International Academy of Professional Coaching Certification
MODULE 2 (Synchronous Learning 42 hours)
Theory, Research, Competencies, Application
Together we will embark on a journey of exploration as we look at coaching through the lens of topics such as: transformational leadership, adult development, self as instrument of change, the neurosciences, positive psychology, appreciative coaching, somatic coaching, coaching for change/ mental models, equity, systems, resilience, coherence, the heart brain, group and team coaching (includes activating the heart of teams), building a business, to name a few.
- 24 hours in term one
- 18 hours in term two
MODULE 3 (Synchronous Learning 12 hours plus asynchronous)
Skills Training/Competencies
Our journey continues as we apply what we have discovered thus far to the learning and application of coaching skills. Here you will learn how to incorporate the ICF coaching competencies.
- Eight 1.5-hour sessions through zoom (first two months/Synchronous Learning)
- 6+ hours of coaching practice with colleague (5-month period/Asynchronous Learning)
MODULE 4 Group (Synchronous Learning 12 Hours plus asynchronous)
Group Mentor Coaching
- Six 1.5-hour mentor coaching sessions (over 3 months/Synchronous Learning)
- Practice coaching in real time and receive feedback from your colleagues and credentialed coach facilitator
Individual Mentor Coaching
- Three 1-hour mentor coaching sessions with credentialed coach (over 3 months/Synchronous Learning)
- Submit 30 minutes coaching session (audio)
- Submit written transcript and personal reflection
- Participate in session with credentialed coach
- Receive written feedback on competencies
MODULE 5 (Asynchronous Learning 21 Hours)
21 Hours of Coaching Practice Clients
- 3 clients/6-7 sessions each
- Contracts/agreements
- Pro-Bono (minimum 2 of 3 clients)
- Must include one High School Student
- 3 of these sessions will be taped (30 min) and turned in for 1 on 1 mentoring-Pillar 5
Graduation 12 hours
- Conferral of International Academy of Professional Coaching
- Certificate of Professional Coach Training (150 hours)
- Celebration!!!!
